Meet Linda Nelms

Office Associate

During the beginning of the 2024 Tax Season, she started working for us Full -Time during Tax Seasons only.  
This 2025 Tax Season will be Linda’s Second Tax Season with us.

GENERAL

• I have lived in the Memphis area since 1987 after growing up in a small town in central Mississippi.
• I have been married to my husband Elmer since 1991 and we have one adult son, Trevor, and a golden retriever grand-dog.
• We are long-time members of Faith Baptist Church Bartlett, where I enjoy serving in the preschool nursery area.
• My favorite hobby is travel of any kind: cruises, road trips, flights to various destinations and most recently we spent the summer towing our camper to and through Alaska.
• We have recently taken up pickleball and are enjoying learning that sport.

WORK AND RELATED EXPERIENCE

• I worked for twelve years in the insurance industry, licensed in property and casualty insurance, where I communicated coverage options to clients, facilitated policy modifications for them and sold additional lines of insurance.
• At a local building automation distribution company, I spent 22 years working in a variety of roles including accounts receivable, executive assistant, inside sales and customer service.
• In all roles, I’ve committed to excellence in understanding and addressing client needs to deliver personalized solutions.
• I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ole Miss.
