Meet Christy Smith

Office Associate

The 2026 Tax Season is Christy’s first Tax Season and she is eager to begin her first tax season with the firm.  She is prepared to jump in, learn the ropes, and provide excellent support to the team and our clients.

GENERAL

• Christy and her husband, Henry, have been married for 30 years and have three children.
• We have been members at Faith Baptist Bartlett for the past 30 years.
• She has homeschooled her children for the past 18 years and is nearing completion of this journey.
• In her free time, Christy loves baking, gardening, traveling and spending time with my family.

WORK AND RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Christy has always been drawn to the accounting field, a passion she discovered in high school.
• Early in her career, she worked in the Mortgage Servicing Department at Union Planters Bank, gaining valuable experience in special loans.
• She later pursued her business degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Memphis.
• After graduation, she felt God was calling her to homeschool her children rather than enter the work force again.
• Her diverse experience also includes directing a homeschool co-op for 20 families and volunteering as a finance officer for the TN BB43 Sea Cadets.
