Meet Melissa Thurmer
Office Associate
The 2026 Tax Season is Melissa’s first Tax Season and is eager to begin her first tax season with the firm. She is prepared to jump in, learn the ropes, and provide excellent support to the team and our clients.
GENERAL
- Melissa and her husband Justin have been married for 20 years and have two sons, Brayden and Liam and two Goldendoodles, Bentley and Sadie
- She is a University of Memphis Alumni and a big U of M football and basketball fan! Go Tigers Go!
- In her free time you can find her cheering her boys on at the football and baseball fields or volunteering for the PTA at Arlington Middle School and Arlington High School
- Her happy place is the beach and spending time with her family!
WORK AND RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Melissa is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with most of her time spent treating home health patients and as a College Professor for future PTA’s. During this time she built meaningful relationships while welcoming the challenge of solving problems
- For the past 5 years she balanced her time as the Executive Assistant to Nightline Express Memphis and as a Domestic Engineer aka “Stay At Home Mom”
- In all roles she creates strong organizational ties and exhibits a high level of self motivation directed towards excellence in all areas of performance
- Melissa and Justin have been clients of Bob Browder and 2026 is the first tax season to work for him as an Office associate!
